IU, BLACKPINK's Rosé Collaboration in The Works? Singer-Songwritter Express Confidence Over 'Palette' Success

IU and BLACKPINK's Rosé to do a collaboration soon? IU expressed her interest with the sweet BLACKPINK vocalist.

IU is well-known to be a huge collaborator. She recently collaborated with BIGBANG's G-Dragon in her newest album "Palette". IU also has previously collaborated with Oh Hyuk, and the actor Kim Soo Hyun.

Now in a recent interview, IU was asked which female singer she would like to do a collaboration with. As reported by Koreaboo, IU then revealed that she would like to do a collaboration with BLACKPINK's sweet (not to mention powerful) vocalist Rosé.

While the rest of BLACKPINK are all undeniably terrific singers, Rosé always tends to be the one to always stand out. It is not out for debate that artists other than IU would want to do a collab with the talented singer.

Since IU's revelation, both her fans and Rosé's almost literally went crazy. While others are seemingly patient, other's just want it to happen stat! It would indeed be a great day for all the fans if IU and Rosé were to sing together on a track.

In other news, IU recently attended a media event on Friday, April 21 at the Shinhan Card FAN Square on the country's capital. As reported by Hello Kpop, the singer songwriter expressed her confidence with her fourth album "Palette". IU claims this album has the best written songs in her entire career.

IU also explained the meaning behind the title of her album. IU said that "Palette" is a representation of her desires to also explore other music genres, just like how a paint artist would use the palette (thin wooden slab) to mix colors.

"This album was first started from the idea that as much as a palette is a tool," said IU. "It could also be the artwork itself."

IU's "Palette" was released last week on April 21. "Palette", the album's title track, was written by IU herself with the rap lyrics written and sang by BIGBANG's G-Dragon.
