Highlight's Junhyung Reveals Upcoming Solo Single 'What If'

Highlight's Junhyung has just been confirmed to have his latest solo single coming out really soon. But apart from this, he also had another project as he got featured in the May issue of the popular GQ Korea magazine.

In his appearance in the GQ Korea, Junhyung can be seen with his new hairstyle, which somehow gave him a fresh new feel to his identity, especially now that he will be releasing his newest digital single. He also took the time to promote his digital single as he talks about it in his interview with the magazine.

According to All K-pop, Junhyung says that he had created the song from his own personal experiences. He reiterates the fact that it was solely from his own ideas and thoughts. What makes it really unique is that the lyrics are all directly connected to all of the memories that he has throughout his life.

Junhyung then adds that due to the fact that the song revolves around his life story, he was able to quickly finish it with no kind of pressure or stress at all. It has also been revealed that Highlight's Junhyung found it very easy to write the song because everything just flowed through smoothly. Everything just came to shape, without him knowing it's there. That's how meaningful his song really is.

Meanwhile, Junhyung also says that if he ever had a hard time in writing a song, what he will usually do is that he just sits down and gets a drink. He says that it was his stress reliever and that it helped him to keep his mind straight.

The K-pop heartthrob says that this what he does if he was composing of music or writing down the lyrics of a song. Perhaps, it is also the same process that he incorporated while he was writing down "What If".

It is worth noting that the last solo single of Junhyung was released a year ago. It was entitled "After this Moment". When asked about why the song was a sad song, he said that he wants his fans to get emotional and to cry because of it.

Even Park Shin Hye and Yang Se Hyung listened to it and were mesmerized. "What If" will be released this coming May 2.
