All eyes are on Lee Sung Kyung after the tremendous success of her portrayal as a weightlifter in MBC's "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo." Now, reports are hinting that the actress is set to portray another strong woman for a movie.
According to a report by My Castco, Lee Sung Kyung has received an offer to play the lead character in the film "Love Sling" which will revolve around the relationship of a father and daughter who will reconnect through wrestling. It was reported that the father has been cast and veteran actor Yoo Hae Jin will portray the role.
Lee Sung Kyung is currently reported to be reviewing the role. It can be recalled that the actress was also offered the lead role in the romantic comedy "Be Careful of This Woman", which will now be aired as "Suspicious Partner." The lead role eventually went to Nam Ji Hyun who will star opposite "Healer" actor Ji Chang Wook for the drama.
Fans are interested to see whether Lee Sung Kyung will accept the role since it is very similar to her "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" role. Both characters are of strength athletes with father figures. While the father and daughter relationship in "Love Slings" seem to be damaged, Kim Bok Joo's relationship with her father in the drama was proven to be quite ideal.

Fans have been speculating an off-screen romance the filming of the MBC drama but the actors remained low-key about their romance. However, recent photos and slip ups on social media have eventually prodded YG Entertainment to issue a statement confirming the relationship. The agency said that the actors fell in love on the set of "Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok Joo", just as the fans suspected, Kpopstarz reported.
