Somi expressed her thanks with the public's very reception of Unnie's "Right?" The song has already surpassed Psy's "I Luv It".
As reported by All Kpop, Somi uploaded a collage of screen captures of the music charts where Unnie's "Right?" has topped. Psy's "I Luv It" was not doing very well as it ranked only second.
In her Instagram caption, Somi thanked all the fans for her support. The caption also read how she was literally crying at the moment she was typing the caption. Kyuung!
Somi also stated how May 12 was a memorable day for her, Minzy, and the rest of Unnies. Her fans responded with great pleasure and hoped for the continuous success for "Right?"
"Right?" by Somi and the Unnies achieved an all-kill in less than 24 hours. The song ranked No. 1 on all 8 major music charts in Korea in just a matter of hours after its digital release.
The newest Unnies are now made of Somi, Hong Jin Kyung, Kim Suk, Kang Ye Won, Han Chae Young, and Hong Jin Young. Former 2NE1 member Gong Minzy is also in the Unnies which added a powerful voice quality in the group.
Somi and the Unnies also did a live broadcast showcase on Naver's V Live app on May 12 at 12 P.M. KST. The Unnies initially promised to rank No. 1 on music charts, in which they did - even beating their top competitor Psy with his latest single "I Luv It".
During the broadcast, Somi and the Unnies also promised to head to the nearest bridge and dance wearing hanbok for 30 minutes. More details will be released soon regarding their promise.
Meanwhile, the music video for "Right?" was also released on the same day. During an episode of "Unnie's Slam Dunk 2", Somi and Minzy both revealed how exhausting filming a music video is.
