TWICE's Dahyun Fills Jinyoung's Spot As MC On 'Inkigayo'

Dahyun of TWICE will be replacing GOT7's Jinyoung as special host for the May 22 episode of "Inkigayo". This is only for a short while though.

As reported by All Kpop, TWICE's Dahyun is set to replace GOT7's Jinyoung for a short while as "Inkigayo's" MC. Multiple MCs have already substituted for Jinyoung.

Jinyoung has been very busy recently with GOT7's Japanese promotion. The group is currently gearing up for their "GOT7 Japan Tour 2017 Showcase".

Catch TWICE's Dahyun as "Inkigayo's" special MC on May 22 at 12:10 KST. TWICE is also set to perform on the same episode.

Meanwhile, TWICE recently made their comeback with "Signal". This is the girl group's fourth mini album to date.

Unfortunately, it was not received that well by TWICE's fans and netizens. This is despite the fact that the title track "Signal" achieved an all-kill status in most Korean music charts.

As previously reported by KpopStarz, netizens and TWICE fans stated their disbelief on online communities. Negative comments can also be seen in the comment section of the song's music video.

Most of the top rated comments stated that the song "sucks". Other TWICE fans commented that they should have just gotten songs from Black Eyed Pilseung instead of JYP Entertainment head J.Y. Park.

Other netizens claimed that TWICE only got the No. 1 spot in music charts simply because they were famous. One netizen was even too harsh and said: "The quality of the song is poorest out of the poor."

When TWICE "Signal" was released, it gained a low average of 2.5 percent of rating. This was based on 19,000 reviews on Melon.

Despite the negative feedbacks, however, TWICE remained strong and are still currently promoting their newest EP. As of this writing, "Signal" music video has more than 25.5 million views on YouTube.
