TWICE Beats Own Record For Number Of Copies Sold With 'Signal'

TWICE has beaten their own record. The girl group has sold over 100,000 copies of their latest mini album "Signal" within a week of its release.

As reported by All Kpop, TWICE sold 114,245 copies of their latest EP "Signal" on Hanteo. This is just within the first week of the EP's release!

TWICE broke the record they set back in February with "TWICEcoaster: Lane 2". The album sold 113, 611 copies within the first week of release, making them the first girl group to achieve such feat.

TWICE also set another record for their name last week. The girl group also broke their own record for having the most records sold on the first day of release.

During the first day of release of "Signal", TWICE sold 42,444 copies of the mini album. They beat their previous record by 8,189 with "TWICEcoaster: Lane 1" which sold 34,255 copies within the first day.

This just proved that despite haters giving negative feedback towards "Signal", TWICE still managed to prove them wrong. ONCEs are always behind their unnies to prevent them from feeling sad.

In other news, TWICE's "Knock Knock" MV just hit 100 million views! This comes after "Cheer Up", "TT", and "Like OH-AHH" MVs who also achieved over 100 million views on YouTube.

As reported by Korean Portal, The feat was achieved on Saturday, May 20. As of Tuesday (May 23) afternoon, TWICE music video for "Knock Knock" holds 101,856,969 views.

TWICE's "TT" music video still holds the number of views though. As of this writing, the "TT" music video holds 198,395,501 views - just 2 million views short of achieving what other girl groups haven't yet.

Meanwhile, TWICE's "Signal" just surpassed the 20 million views mark. This is despite the negative reviews they got during its release on May 15.

As of this writing, TWICE's "Signal" MV holds 27,314,179 views on YouTube. Fans hope that the mv achieves 30 million views before the weekends.
