Everyone is surely looking forward to watching SBS' new drama "My Sassy Girl" starring Joo Won and Oh Yeon Seo. To give a hint what people should expect in the upcoming drama, SBS just dropped new stills.
According to Soompi, the latest stills from SBS reveal a very special moment between the leads, Joo Won and Oh Yeon Seo. The first still shows Oh Yeon Seo's character, Princess Hye Myung is about to vomit on Gyun Woo (played by Joo Won), who is in shock because of the sudden misfortune he's about to endure.
It turns out the said scene is actually mimicking the memorable scene from "My Sassy Girl" original movie starring Cha Tae Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun. The preview clearly gets everyone to wonder what has led the two characters into that situation and how their relationship would change afterward.
The remake of the movie is highly anticipated, especially with the distinctive alteration the drama will introduce. Instead of taking on the romance of modern day, "My Sassy Girl" drama will be taking a step back to the Joseon era.
The historical version of the movie will get everyone interested to see how the present-day characters and storyline will be interpreted into a historical drama with new characters. Besides, the chemistry between Joo Won and Oh Yeon Seo can also be another reason not to miss this drama.
Meanwhile, a report from Allkpop hinted that "My Sassy Girl" marks the busiest year for Oh Yeon Seo since the actress is in the middle of filming another remake project. Oh Yeon Seo will be portraying Hong Seol in "Cheese In The Trap" film adaptation.
"My Sassy Girl" stars Joo Won, Oh Yeon-Seo, Lee Jung Shin, and Kim Yoon Hye. SBS "My Sassy Girl" will premiere on May 29 at 10 p.m. KST as a follow-up of "Whisper".
