New boy group A.C.E has made everyone raises their eyebrows because of its stage outfit. While some people might find it unusual, the group has successfully gained attention on its debut stage performance.
According to Allkpop, On May 24, Jason, Wow, Jun, Donghoon, and Chan of A.C.E performed their single "Cactus" on "Show Champion". The group's overall performance was captivating, but there was something that made everyone crazier, and that is none other than the members' unique outfits.
On their performance, the members wore black short, which is usually worn as an underwear. This was considered unique and rare since there is no boy group who has done that before. While many people praised their unique concept that has successfully caught everyone's attention, there are also people who think the stage outfit was obnoxious.
A fan even jokingly said that the members will be embarrassed when they see their debut performance in the future. Asides from A.C.E's unique outfit, the group has a lot to offer in the near future.
Prior to the debut, A.C.E was known for its marvelous dance covers of popular idol groups like BTS and EXO, Soompi reported. The group's street performance easily caught an entertainment agency's attention named Beat Interactive.
A.C.E uploaded their street performance dance covers on YouTube and the group currently has over 150,000 subscribers. Jason and Chan were trainees at JYP Entertainment, while Jun and Wow were trained under CJ.
The members also have shown up in several TV shows long before they debuted as A.C.E. Jun, the leader of the group, appeared in the musical show "Peste" and "I Can See Your Voice 4". Meanwhile, Jason was a contestant on a music talent show "K-Pop Star 2". A.C.E's debut single "Cactus" was released on May 23.
With their talents and experiences, people can expect to see a lot more A.C.E in the future. It's not impossible if the group will be as big as the groups whose dance they used to cover.
