Lee Hyori's newest show under JTBC has just gotten an airing date. Titled "Hyori's Bed and Breakfast", the variety show is slated to air on June 25.
As reported by All Kpop, JTBC's newest variety "Hyori's Bed and Breakfast" is set to air on Sunday, June 25. The show has been given an evening time slot, airing at 8:50 p.m. KST.
Starring Lee Hyori herself and her husband Lee Sang Soon, the show takes place at the couple's cozy home in Jeju Island. The couple has opened up their home as a bed and breakfast place for travelers for 12 days.
Lee Hyori has also "employed" the singer-songwriter IU in their bed and breakfast service. The singer-songwriter will serve as the guesthouse's housekeeping staff.
As previously reported by Soompi, Lee Hyori and the production team have wrapped up the filming of the show. Both Lee Hyori and IU found the filming quite challenging, but fun at the same time as revealed by their producer Ma Gun Young.
"We filmed for about 15 days including the preparation stages, and it wasn't easy because it was a 24-hour observation shoot, without the staff's intervention," revealed the producer. "Lee Hyori and IU found that a bit challenging, but they had fun filming along with the non-celebrity guests."
The production team also saw Lee Hyori and IU get close with each other. "It was awkward at first since they were filming at Lee Hyori's house and not on stage, but as time passed, they became closer and IU seemed comfortable."
The production team also added how IU looked like Lee Hyori's little sister. "While she did work a bit, she also could rest during the shoot, too," they further revealed.
JTBC's "Hyori's Bed and Breakfast" featuring Lee Hyori, husband, and IU will have about 12 episodes. Catch the first episode on Sunday, June 25 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
