'Boys Over Flowers' Star Gu Hye Sun Is Ready For Her K-drama Comeback

"Boys Over Flowers" actress Gu Hye Sun is finally ready to make her K-drama comeback and is reviewing offers for her next project. This comes as good news to her fans who have long awaited her return to the small screen, after getting married to her "Blood" co-star Ahn Jae Hyun.

According to Korea Portal, YG Entertainment has announced that the actress is already 100 percent recovered after she had to be pulled out from "You're Too Much" due to her medical condition. While filming for her supposed comeback, it can be recalled that Gu Hye Sun was rushed to the hospital after suffering from a severe case of allergies, which caused her to have trouble breathing and even eating.

Doctors diagnosed Gu Hye Sun with a severe case of anaphylactic allergy and was advised to take a break from filming and other strenuous activities until she recovered. According to Drama Fever, at the time, Gu Hye Sun did not want to withdraw from the project and even offered to continue filming with the aid of an ambulance on standby on set to give her IV fluids should she suffer from any medical episodes while on set.

However, her management, YG Entertainment opted against her suggestion and decided to prioritize Gu Hye Sun's health to ensure that she will get better faster. If left untreated, anaphylactic allergies are considered life threatening.

According to YG Entertainment, Gu Hye Sun has resumed her normal day to day activities and is already having no trouble with her health. The label expressed the actress' excitement over returning to work after resting and regaining her energies. YG reps further said that the actress is currently in the process of reviewing offers to star in her next project.
