WINNER Teases Another Comeback In 2017

Last April, WINNER was filled with uncertainty as they made their comeback with the album "Fate Number For" without their main vocalist Nam Tae Hyun. However, it seems that their much-deserved success is making the artists more confident as they seem to be gearing for their second comeback in 2017.

A report by allkpop stated that a producer DEE.P recently posted a photo of WINNER members Seung Yoon, Seung Hoon, Jinwoo and Mino at the studio seeming to be working on new material. His caption "RECORDING! #WINNER," confirmed that YG artists are indeed recording for a new song. DEE.P did not elaborate or confirm whether WINNER was working on a new album or when it would be released.

It can be recalled that WINNER, in preparing for their comeback as a quartet, was very nervous about how fans will accept them without Nam Tae Hyun, Kpopstarz reported. "We worked hard to improve our individual skills so that fans wouldn't feel like there's an empty spot. We had no choice but to become better," WINNER leader Seung Yoon said.

Aside from working on their performance and vocals with lessons and endless rehearsals, WINNER worked tirelessly to stage the longest promotional streak among any YG Entertainment artist. The K-pop group completed eight weeks straight of activities to promote their comeback, appearing in music shows, performing for their fans and eventually, all this paid off when they managed to achieve an all-kill with their title track "Really Really." WINNER's track also topped the iTunes charts of 12 countries.

Upon seeing DEE.P's post, INNER CIRCLE, WINNER's official fandom expressed excitement about the new comeback and WINNER's new music. Most agreed that WINNER's success was well deserved because of their natural talent and hard work. Some said that YG Entertainment may be moving to strike while the iron is hot for the K-pop group because of the momentum they managed to gain with their comeback album.
