Winner And iKON Goes Head To Head Against Each Other

Winner has recently revealed how they drew inspiration from Big Bang. As they were talking about it in the interview, they also opened up about their rivalry with another boy group, iKON.

Surprisingly, there is also news that there is another new girl group that will soon be formed by YG Entertainment. It is reported that it will bear the name of Future 2ne1.

Reports have it that Winner had frankly opened up about the reality that they idolize Big Bang, and that the group has had a major influence on them. It is also because of Big Bang that they are motivated to seek greater heights in their music career and identity.

Kang Seung Yoon, a member of Winner, says that they cannot catch up with the fame and popularity that Big Bang is currently in now. This is impossible if they were to merely follow their footsteps and imitate them.

For him, what should be done instead is for them to make a name for themselves and make their own identity in the K-pop industry. According to All K-pop, Winner wants to continuously improve their talents and music through the passing of time.

Seung Yoon, another member of the group Winner, says that it is the responsibility of each of the members of the group to go and dive into the right decisions in their personal and professional lives.

With all of these being said, it is very clear that Winner wants to be the best of what they can be. Even though they idolize Big Bang in a lot of ways, they will not jut merely imitate it as this will not do them good in the long run.

According to Korea Portal, Lee Sung Hoon also spoke up regarding the rivalry that they have with iKon. He says that it is a good thing to have a competition with another group as this motivates each group to compete effectively and improve their respective music.

He also clarifies that Winner and iKon are two different groups that have two different music genres. It is because of this that comparing them is not really right.
