It seems that Girls' Generation has been working a little too hard as a recent member was revealed to have injured herself while preparing for the comeback.
Member Yuri uploaded a video to Instagram on July 27th of both her feet, with one wrapped and covered in ice, as she gently wiggles them in the short six second video. Yuri updated everyone saying she has torn a ligament in her right foot and is expecting a speedy recovery.
Fans were absolutely surprised and considered the terrible timing as this incident happened a few weeks right before their comeback in August. However, Yuri put everyone's minds at ease as she left an uplifting message with her video post. "I pulled a ligament in my leg *crying emoji* but you don't need to worry that much. Everything's gonna be fine because I've got SONE.. ♥️ Thank you for being with me all the time~!"
However, some fans are well aware that a torn ligament takes at least several weeks to fully recover. Despite her uplifting message and thoughts, with Girls' Generation's comeback around the corner (August 7th), fans are anticipating a small delay in their comeback. Hopefully, Girls' Generation can continue to celebrate their 10th anniversary without any more problems.
