U-KISS Kiseop Severely Burned & Injured While Filming - Currently Hospitalized

Breaking news was recently reported of the horrible incident that occurred on set during filming with U-KISS. Member Kiseop has sustained injuries and is now hospitalized due to the incident.

On September 6th, the group was filming their comeback MV when there was an on-stage explosion. During Kiseop's solo filming, a smoke machine used for his scene had technical difficulties and exploded on site.

Their agency NH Media reported the horrible details of the incident saying, "During filming for the MV, a smoke machine was used for Kiseop's scene, and it caused an explosion. He suffered 2nd-degree burns, and 10 pieces of material were lodged in his body. He was transferred to a hospital in Incheon." The agency also shared the photo above of Kiseop's current condition.

"It's a machine that's used often among civilians, at soccer matches, and at various festivals. We used it while filming for their music video, and it blew up. After receiving treatment at the hospital, Kiseop is currently resting."

It appears most of the damage was caused to the idol's face and neck as well as on the left side of his arm and hand. Fans, as well as members of U-KISS, are devastated by the tragic news. No information has been further revealed on Kiseop's status or if any other group members have sustained injuries.

Back in April of 2017, member Eli had also revealed in an interview just how hard member Kiseop was working towards the group's comeback. "We're currently in the recording. We are most likely to come out at the end of June or early July. One of the members Kiseop actively participated in composing and writing the lyrics for this album. Several good tracks have been produced." Let's hope for a safe a speedy recovery for Kiseop!
