Recently, April's Jinsol has been under fire and receiving a huge amount of negative criticism towards the results of her participation during a magic show involving Korea's most talented performer, Choi Hyun Woo.
April's Jinsol was scheduled to be an MC for Choi Hyun Woo's magic event as well as participating in one of his final magic tricks. However, due to April's hectic oversea schedule, Jinsol arrived 20 minutes before the show could begin and had no time to rehearse her lines or for the magic act. Thus, the following results happened.
Jinsol can be seen appearing before Choi Hyun Woo drew down the curtain. Many netizens felt Jinsol permanently damaged the entertainer's career and it was reported that he could even be fined by the Magic Association for revealing the secrets of the trick. Now, Choi Hyun Woo spoke up about the tragic event and revealed his thoughts towards that day and April's Jinsol.
Choi Hyun Woo uploaded the following message to netizens on his Instagram: "The magic trick I did was by magician Gustave Fasola, but there are no copyright issues related to the trick. Rather than the controversy of a magic trick's secret being revealed, I'm more shocked by the flood of criticism towards April's Jinsol."
In regards to Jinsol, he continued, "The video clip was circulated, and my heart hurts due to the critical comments being flung towards a young person. I've already received an apology from the folks at DSP Media. In the end, the responsibility of all magic is on the magician. I'm asking you to please refrain from criticizing a rookie like Jinsol, who hasn't had much experience on stage yet."
What do you think of Choi Hyun Woo's response on the matter?
