An American Artists Is Confirmed To Appear on 'The Unit' Idol Reboot Program?

Fans are delightfully surprised to hear the news of an American artist joining the official lineup of the new idol reboot program 'The Unit,' which is set to air this October. But just who is this mystery idol from America?

Believe it or not, it is KOKI from the parody / experimental K-Pop idol group EXP Edition from New York. The group was created by Bora Kim, a student at Columbia University her made her school project about creating her own boy band, which has been quite successful over time. The boy group successfully raised $30,000 for their mini-album and even studied Korean and producing music in Korea. The group has even released multiple songs, with their last song being "Feel Like This" which you can view down below.

Member KOKI is actually Japanese and German (and the only Asian member of the group) who was born and raised in Hong Kong and always had an interest in K-Pop - particularly Big Bang. KOKI is a vocalist and occasional rapper, and one of the members with a lower vocal range. He also plays guitar in EXP Edition's acoustic videos. He is also considered the visual.

After the official announcement was made and confirmed, the group proudly posted a photo on their official Twitter page with the caption, "We're so excited to announce that #KOKI will be participating in #KBSTHEUNIT! Please cheer on our maknae!" What do you think of this parody artist actually performing alongside legitimate K-Pop idols in Korea? Stay tuned for more updates.
