Popular South Korea artist Kim Jong-kook and Singapore singer Joanna Dong will be performing at this year's 22nd Asian Television Awards, which returns to the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre Level 6 on Friday, 1 December 2017.
Kim Jong-kook is best known as "Sparta-Kook" and "Commander" of the popular variety show, "Running Man". His smart tactics and muscle strength often allow him to defeat his fellow members and the show's guests during mission.
Joanna, the Singaporean singer, actress and host who came in third in last Sunday's (8 October) Sing! China finals, is the second Singaporean after Nathan Hartono to make it to the finals. This will be the first time that she is performing "live" regionally after her epic journey in the Chinese reality show.
Kim Jong-kook and Joanna will be joined by world class acts such as renowned international electronic artist, GG Magree, who will be performing in Singapore for the first time.
Wang Li Huan from Chinese broadcaster Shanghai Media Group has been named as one of the hosts.
Kim Jong-kook, Joanna Dong, GG Magree and Wang Li Huan will be joining previously announced performer, Indonesian Superstar Afgansyah Reza, for this year's "live" Asian Television Awards on 1 December, as well as hosts Baki Zainal (Malaysia) and Stephanie Carrington (Singapore), both of whom were also hosts at last year's event.
Tickets to Asian Television Awards, pricing at $28, $38 and $98, will be available on Sistic at the end of the month.
