Six-piece Korean girl group Apink is set to star in a new reality show chronicling their recent trip to Jeju Island. Titled "Everybody Ready!," the show can premiere on might seven on Naver's V Live Channel as recently disclosed by their agency, Play M Entertainment.
"Apink, who has received lots of love for their variety show skills, will return with a new reality show got the first time in a long while. The honest depiction of a girl group in their ninth year of promotions will be both fun and moving at the same time," the company further said in a statement.
Apart from the day-to-day happenings that took place during their trip, the program will also give viewers behind-the-scenes access to their newest music video featuring the song of the same name.
"Everybody Ready!," the song, served as Apink's gift to their fans as they celebrated their eighth day of remembrance since their debut.The funky piece, which was unveiled last April 19, has an accompanying visual showing the members at their most carefree.
Besides the song and video, Apink members also gifted their fans (called Pandas) with heartfelt messages. Park Chorong, through their official Twitter account, remarked: "To my beloved Pandas! Apink is celebrating our eighth debut anniversary. I've been so, so happy for the past eight years thanks to the Apink members and Pandas."
Like an addendum to their anniversary song, their newest reality program will signal a new light-hearted, yet another memorable year for the ever-innovative K-pop group.
Prior to their new reality show, the K-pop ladies have charmed fans across the globe with the programs "Apink News," "Finding X-Pink," "Apink's Extreme Adventure," and "Apink's Showtime." Their last reality show was "Put Your Hands Up."
Apink consists of Park Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Jung Eunji, Son Naeun, Kim Namjoo, and OH Hayoung.Since they were introduced back in 2011, they have received loved and much fanfare with their bops -- and their cheerful, laidback personalities.
The group is best known for their smashes, "Luv" and "NoNoNo." They recently offered a more mature musical style through their releases "I'm So Sick" and "%%."
