Jessica will be making a comeback soon!
Jessica's upcoming single will have two versions - Korean and Japanese, and will be released through the music platform 'Municorn.'
Previously, it was reported that the female idol would come back with a Japanese single album called "Call Me Before You Sleep," along with a Korean rendition. The album contains a Korean and a Japanese version of the title track "Call Me Before You Sleep." Jessica will feature Sandaime J Soul Brothers' Elly in the Japanese song, while Korean rapper Giriboy in the Korean.
The Korean-language of "Call Me Before You Sleep" is said to be digitally out on September 26, while the Japanese-language will be physically launched on October 9. A few days before the single album release, Jessica will be holding her first-ever Japanese fan meet in Tokyo, Japan on October 2, called "XOXO Jessica Jung Fan Meeting." It is said that there will be two sessions on the same day. Girl group GWSN will also be appearing on the said event as the opening act.
Furthermore, fans will be able to see Jessica perform her new single life, for the first time.
"Call Me Before You Sleep" is Jessica's first release in almost a year, since her special Christmas song last December 2018, titled "One More Christmas."
Jessica Jung is best known as a former member of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. She joined SM Entertainment in 2000 and spent seven years training before debuting as an SNSD member on August 5, 2007. Aside from group activities, she had many duets with different artists like Shinee member Onew, Park Myung Soo, and more.
In the following years, she appeared in several variety shows and dramas, including "Happy Birthday," SBS's "Oh My Lady," "Star King," as well as in the film "I Love that Crazy Little Thing." She even made her musical theatre debut in the production of "Legally Blonde" in 2009.
Jessica was then "forced out" of the group in 2014 due to scheduling conflicts, but SM would continue to manage her solo activities. She eventually left the company in 2015 and signed with Coridel Entertainment sometime in 2016.
Stay tuned for more updates about Jessica's comeback this year.
