Heads up, Blinks. Ya girl Jennie is on the cover of Elle for its October issue!
In the interview that ensued after the shoot, Jennie said, "Ever since I was little, styling myself was my hobby. That's why I'm thankful and amazed that lots of people are interested in my [fashion] preferences."
For eight months, BLACKPINK traveled to different countries as part of their first world tour, "In Your Area." The quartet held shows in 23 cities in total across the globe.
"I learned and experienced a lot. I realized that if I set aside my fear and take a step forward, what awaits me is a scene I hadn't expected. From now on, I want to give off an even better impression on stage," the top girl group member shared.
On September 21, the ladies will hold their first fan meeting, "BLACKPINK 2019 Private Stage," in Seoul.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK recently made waves for reaching consecutive milestones after "Boombayah" became the first-ever K-pop debut video to reach 700 million views on YouTube. The track's official video was uploaded on the platform in August of 2016, meaning that it only took it to achieve the feat three years and a month.
Prior to this, BLACKPINK trended as well when the group's number of subscribers and followers on YouTube and Instagram, respectively, surpassed One Direction's on both the sites. The British pop boy band was the former title-holder as the most-subscribed channel on the video streaming site.
Moreover, the group's maknae Lisa remains the most-followed Korean celebrity on Instagram.
In another story, Rosé confirmed earlier in a live video that she's preparing for her solo. Following the clamor of Blinks to give her her well-deserved solo debut, the singer did an Instagram Livestream to talk to her fans.
"And I know that a lot of you guys are very, very curious about how much I have prepared with my solo...and I'm so happy that you guys are like that. I'm working on it all the time," she said.
"The question about when it is, I cannot say yet I think. I don't know if you guys know me very well but...I want it to be perfect and I want it to be a certain way. I'm very strict on that stuff because it means a lot to me and I know you guys respect that about my personality. I know that it's taking a long time but please trust me on that," she added.
Rosé went on and stated that there is a right time for everything.
