Davichi member Lee Hae Ri has released official teasers and a preview for her upcoming solo track titled "Thing That Only Hurts Me."
Previously, the official Twitter of the duo Davichi posted MV still cuts of Hae Ri's new song together with the details when it will be released. The pics feature a man and a woman on the shore. In the first photo, the two are facing the ocean, while in the second they are in front of a bench beside a tree with a swing hanging on it.
The man is carrying a white box as the woman looks in a different direction. The third image, on the other hand, shows the pair in each other's arms while on top of an elevated steel platform, with trees nearby.
Other than that, Lee Hae Ri increased fans' anticipation by uploading a short clip during her jacket album shoot on the official SNS and YouTube, showing a part of her upcoming track "Thing That Only Hurts Me." The video runs for about 40 seconds and exposes the idol's melodious voice that gives off a heart-wrenching autumn vibe.
Lee Hae Ri's "Thing That Only Hurts Me" is her first release in almost two years and five months, following her first mini-album "h" launched in April 2017.
Hae Ri entered the K-pop scene as a member of a duo called DAVICHI in 2008, alongside Kang Min Kyung, when they debuted with a studio album called "Amaranth" on February 4. The album's title track "I Love You Even Though I Hate You" won the girls the "Rookie of the Month" award. Davichi's latest song so far is their third studio album called "&10," which was released on January 25, 2018.
Aside from promoting the group, she participated in Korean versions of stage musicals thus becoming a musical actress. She took part in "Tears of Heaven" in 2011, "Mozart, I'opera rock" in 2012, and "Hero" in 2014. In 2017, the Hae Ri made her solo debut on April 19 with the EP "h." Her fellow Davichi member Min Kyung also debuted as a solo artist on February 27, 2019, with her first EP "Kang Min Kyung Vol. 1."
"Thing That Only Hurts Me" is set to be released on September 23 at 6 p.m. KST.
