Girls' Generation's YoonA Expresses Support to Fin.K.L's New Track

Girls' Generation's vocalist and center YoonA showed appreciation towards Fin.K.L's brand new release in 14 years.

On the same day, the Girls' Generation member took to her Instagram account to show her support to the new track by posting its cover artwork that shows the Fin.K.L members relaxing while seated around a campfire. YoonA wrote, "Still amazing..." and included hashtags of the song title and of "Camping Club."

In 2018, YoonA hung out with Lee Hyori after making an appearance on "Hyori's Homestay" as a part-time worker. She replaced IU's role as a part-time employee on the show's first season. Moreover, during her stint there, YoonA proved to the cast of the reality show that she's a true Fin.K.L fanatic by singing the girl group's songs multiple times.

Meanwhile, Fin.K.L's reunion concert was a success. They first sang their debut track "Blue Rain" while dressed elegantly. Their fans who were able to attend the event were tearful upon the group's introduction, like how they did over 20 years ago.

"I dressed elegantly while thinking about the past. Everything got a little messy when we were doing the sports events, but I got a touch up so I'm glad to greet you like this again," Lee Hyori shared.

"It took such a long time to greet you all again. ['Blue Rain'] is a song we sang 21 years ago, but it remains a great memory to us. You might think that this was easy for us since we've done it before, but it was really difficult. There was no MR [Music Recorded] track, so it took a long time to produce it again," she added.

Ock Joo Hyun then opened up about "Blue Rain," saying, "I remember not really liking the track much. I had no confidence. As the year passed, I've come to think that it's a really great song. After performing the song on stage again, feelings of gratitude are really surging up inside me."

The girls also performed their other hit tracks, such as "To My Boyfriend" and "You'll Never Know." Lee Hyori also did a song cover of Kang Asol's "To You."

In the latter part of the show, Fin.K.L finally performed their brand new song. All the members participated in writing and composing the lyrics of the track, making it more meaningful to their fans. After they finished performing it, the fans called for an encore, to which the ladies sang "Eternal Love" before ending the show for real.
