Rocket Punch Received Love and Support from Their Sunbae

Rocket Punch recently had an interview with @star1 magazine.

Rocket Punch is the new girl troupe of Woollim Entertainment, the label that is also home to Lovelyz. The members of Rocket Punch stated, "Lovelyz gives us lots of support. And thanks to them, we gained more confidence and energy and we will try our very best to become a junior group that deserves their acknowledgment,".

Members Sohee, Juri, and Suyun then mentioned about their participation in Mnet's survival show "Produce 48" last 2018. The girls said, "Through the competition, we figured out that the amount of effort we put into it decides how much we stand out on stage, and we also learn how to be responsible for our dreams." They continued, "It is the gratefulness and hopefulness we felt during the program that helped us to stand strong now."

Kim Sohee and Kim Suyun were two of the trainees who were removed in the show during the second elimination round, while Juri Takahashi was eliminated in the final episode, almost entering the lineup for the new project girl group "IZ*ONE."

Furthermore, Rocket Punch also discussed the group's goals which they hope to attain this year - growth and recognition. The members remarked, "We are practicing time after time to continue to move forward. We wish to be a team that is worthy of a rookie award at the year-end award ceremony. We strive to become performance professionals that will make the public always looking forward to our stages."

Rocket Punch is a six-member girl group that debuted in August 2019 with their first extended play called "Pink Punch." They are the first female team under Woollim Entertainment after five years since Lovelyz debut in 2014. "Pink Punch" consists of five tracks: "Bim Bam Bum," the title track, "Love Is Over," "Lucid Dream," "Favorite," and "Do Something."

In July, Woollim revealed Rocket Punch through a clip showing the group's logo, followed by a video presenting the six members - Yeonhee (leader), Juri (vocalist), Suyun (main vocalist), Yunkyoung (main rapper/dancer), Sohee (lead rapper/dancer), and Dahyun (maknae).

The music video for the group's lead single "Bim Bam Bum" has surpassed 3 million views. Check out their debut MV now!
