Hara Drops Short MV for New Japanese Single “Midnight Queen”

Goo Hara has finally returned with a short clip for her upcoming release "Midnight Queen."

The MV has already exceeded 20 thousand views and had fans looking forward to the full version of "Midnight Queen." This comeback is Hara's first time to launch new music after more than one year since her last Korean single "WILD" in 2018, and her first Japanese release in more than four years since her first extended play "Alohara (Can You Feel It?)" in July 2015.

And because this is a long-awaited return of Goo Hara, fans couldn't keep their happiness and excitement to themselves for what the idol has prepared for them. Some fans commented, "Love it! Can't wait for the full version!" "I am so proud of you Hara!" "It's so good! I will always support you", "As expected, all songs of Hara are addicting and catchy", "Fantastic! A much-appreciated gift from Queen Hara," and more.

Goo Hara is known as a former member of the female idol group KARA. The troupe started as a quartet and debuted in March 2007 with the single "Break It." Hara only joined the group in 2008 along with Kang Jiyoung after an audition, and debuted as KARA members in July with the track "Rock U."

KARA also promoted itself in Japan through holding showcases and handshake events, which were the preparation for their Japanese debut. In August 2010, the group released the Japanese rendition of their Korean song "Mister," which eventually became very popular in the country - achieving more than 25 thousand copies sold and surpassing 2 million downloads.

Meanwhile, the full MV for "Midnight Queen" will be out on November 13.
