EXID’s Solji to Share Variety of Songs through Own YouTube Channel

EXID member Solji has recently created her own YouTube channel!

She was then asked why she hesitated, and Solji answered, "Because I'm an analog-type of person. I'm not good with computers. So I didn't think I could be good at this, which made me hesitate.

Solji later detailed that her YouTube channel is called 'Soul G,' a nickname that is a play on her real name and also sounds like it, as the term "sol" refers to the note G and she would like to become a soulful singer. She also unveiled that she began to use 'Soul-G' probably ten years ago.

She continued and said that she seeks to stuff her channel with music, and also share her daily life and talk with fans. Solji further stated, "To be honest, a lot of my fans do not know what I usually do. So I want to show these things via my Soul-G channel."

Solji concluded the video saying, "I am planning to share and show many sides of who I am so please show lots of love and support, and I will try my best to make fun content for you." She added, "If there are any songs you want to hear from me, or any types of content you would want me to do, please let me know via comments. Also, don't forget to click subscribe and like. Thank you!"

Solji's group EXID is currently on hiatus so that members will be able to focus on their individual activities. This launching of the YouTube channel is her first appearance following the group's concerts in Japan this past August, called "2019 EXID Summer Live Tour," which took place in Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Tokyo.

EXID's latest comeback happened on May 15 this year, with the fifth extended play labeled "We" that consists of six tracks including the lead single "Me & You" plus its instrumental version. For the month of May, the EP ranked 15th as the best-selling album with a total of 24,423 copies sold.

Best of luck to EXID's Solji for her YouTube channel.
