The cinematic trailer may have lasted for only 30 seconds but multiple scenes were divulged, making us more ecstatic about the release of the much-awaited music video.
The sound of the trumpet begins alongside the jaw-dropping entrance of the septet, and we can also see an aerial view of a sprawling desert and a man (who we presume to be Kai) seemingly about to hop off a helicopter. Clad in affluent-looking ensembles, the seven dreamboats stand on stage as cheers intensify inside the arena.
SuperM's official debut is just around the corner and we sure heck are looking forward to the K-pop Avengers' arrival. After taking our breath away with the performance video - starring Taemin, Kai, and Ten - SM Entertainment dropped yet another spectacular video, the teaser for "Jopping" music video.
Then, we see them riding a sleek car and a motorbike on a highway, as well as a battle tank on the dessert. The fast-paced teaser transitioned to the septet, all geared-up, dancing sharply and singing the powerful lyrics to "Jopping." In the latter part of the video, we see the outside view of a stadium where the loud screams are coming from.
Shortly after, SM unveiled teaser images of Kai, Lucas, and Ten. It is irrefutable that the members of SuperM are the aces of their original groups, but no one can question that each of them oozes visuals as well. Suffice it to say - or an understatement rather - than the forthcoming supergroup is a whole package.
A couple of days ago, we were enthralled by the septet in their interview with Billboard. Baekhyun, EXO's main vocalist, shared that the seven of them have chemistry. The singer, earlier, has been elected as SuperM's leader.
"I see this as a new challenge. There are a lot of expectations because even though this is new, each of us comes from a different [popular] group. But there's this awesome synergy between us," the UN Village singer stated.
Despite the perplexing individual teasers, the mind-blowing performance video, and the first and latest "Jopping" MV teaser, SuperM members kept the details of their sound and style under wraps during the interview. So far, only one instrumental track "I Can't Stand The Rain" is available on Spotify, which was published ahead of their debut. But let's just take Mark's words for it.
"We're doing something futuristic and more advanced than what the world has ever seen," the NCT 127 member revealed.
SuperM will officially launch on October 4 and is slated to make their debut performance on October 5 at Capitol Records in Los Angeles.
