Director Gus Van Sant expressed his wish to work with the group BTS member Park Jimin. Jimin's critical appeal has become an issue in Britain's Metro (METRO), CNN, MTV, and NME.
Director Gus Van Sant mentioned BTS member Jimin in an interview with British fashion magazine i-D. When he was asked, "Do you have any actors you want to work with?"
"He's not an actor. Sometimes I see people who have a peaceful feeling that I like. The person who has a peaceful feeling to me now is BTS member Jimin. I want to take a picture of Jimin, too. That's probably the story of the future," he replied.
Gus Van Sant is an American film director, screenwriter, and author who has earned acclaim as both an independent and mainstream filmmaker. Gus van Sant won the Los Angeles Critics Association Indie Film Award for his short film "Mala Nosh" in 1985. "I'd love to photograph him too, but maybe that's something for the future?" Gus Van Sant added to the interview, as well. It is a virtual love call based on the master's eye, which would have always been his eye on him as a keen-sighted film director, casting famous actors from all over the world for more than three decades.
The official account of the i-D magazine, then interviewer Taylor Glasby and magazine editor Diane Paik, also raised their voices by posting the content on their personal SNS. Upon hearing the news, fans around the world and local and foreign media outlets posted hashtags of #JiminXGusVanSant and eagerly wished to see Jimin through his works.
