On November 14, employees from the South Korea Fire department were fired for disclosing information about Sulli's death. The singer/actress died on October 14 this year.

In the afternoon of October 14, an ambulance responded to a report made by Sulli's manager. When the paramedics arrived, they announced Sulli as dead on arrival. The details of her death were supposed to be confidential, however, fire officials who have access to this information leaked several details regarding the incident.

Gyeonggi Provincial Fire & Disaster Headquarters representative, Chief Lee Hyung Chul, said: "We have expelled the involved individuals from service. We have also tightened the security with regard to this case. Before the police and all fire officers have access but now only senior officials can."
