NCT 127 will be meeting NCTzen soon! SM Entertainment announced that the boy group would be conducting a fan meeting that will be called "WINTER 127 with NCTzen 127!" Based on the poster uploaded on NCT 127's official website, the event will be held at Korea University Hwa-Jeong Tiger Dome in Seoul on December 21, with one session starting at 2 p.m. and the second one will begin at 7 p.m. KST.
Also, on the website, SM Entertainment noted that NCT 127 member Jungwoo would not be able to participate in the fan meeting due to his health problems. So, the company asks for the fans' generous understanding. The group's label also gave additional information to the news outlet about Jungwoo's current condition. They said, "With regards to the health matters of Jungwoo, it has already improved. He is doing his best so that he can participate in the group's planned activities next year."
This will be Seventeen's third fan meeting since their debut. It has already been two years since their last tour in Macau and Bangkok. "WINTER 127 with NCTzen 127!" will also be their first without Jungwoo. Tickets for NCT 127's fan meeting are already available for purchase.
Jungwoo started taking a temporary hiatus last August of this year because of his health concerns. Earlier that month, NCT 127 was one of the guests at Capitol Music Group's Capitol Congress event in Los Angeles, where they interacted with music industry executives, producers, and artists such as Katy Perry, Halsey, Niall Horan, Mashmello, Quavo, and many more. However, Jungwoo was unable to experience this gathering.
Besides, Jungwoo was also not in attendance at the filming of "2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships - Chuseok Special." Then on the 16th of August, NCT 127 attended and performed at "Spotify on Stage in Midnight Sonic," which was held in Japan. But before the event, SM Entertainment announced that Jungwoo will not join the group on the stage again since he is still resting to recover from his health issues.
Meanwhile, NCT 127 was recently announced to be guesting and staging on "The Today Show," which is part of the prominent American morning show's Citi Concert Series. The event will take place at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City on November 29. But before this, the boy group will be appearing at the 93rd annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 28, along with other artists such as Black Eyed Peas, Debbie Gibson, Billy Porter, Chicago, and more.
