BIGBANG's leader, G-Dragon, has done his first good deed after his military discharge. Nike released a statement on November 24, revealing what G-Dragon has recently accomplished.

They said, "Through a donation ceremony that took place on November 23, G-Dragon donated the very first 'art court' that features the artwork in his 'Air Force 1 PARA-NOISE' to the people at Olympic Park, where one can find only basketball hoops on asphalt. It doesn't only aim to improve the field of sports, but it gives hope in changing all communities that enjoy sports and culture as well. Also, it hopes to help the citizens release their inspiration."

Air Force 1 was introduced to the public on a basketball court in 1982 and has since become an inspiration to an array of areas such as music, art, design, and even street culture. That being said, G-Dragon's donation also seems to be a way to commemorate the symbolic meaning of the sneakers made from the recent collaboration of G-Dragon and Nike.

At the center of the court, one can find a huge daisy drawn inside a circle, which is the logo of the singer's fashion brand that represents peace. The lines on the side have the phrase, "THE FLOWER IS THE YOUTH OF LIFE," along with the artwork that the male artist designed on his sneakers. The backboards of the hoops even give more encouragement since Nike's "JUST DO IT" slogan is written on them in Korean. Also, the sides of the court are painted with colorful flowers including the white daisy.
With regards to his contribution, G-Dragon stated, "I hope that everyone who likes sports and culture will obtain more self-assurance and enhance their abilities. I wish that their culture and energy will be more extensively shared and acknowledged in the future."

The idol's fashion brand called PEACEMINUSONE recently worked with Nike to remake their iconic Air Force 1 sneakers into something new, which is now called Air Force 1 PARA-NOISE. This collaboration marks G-Dragon's first activity after being discharged from the military.

The new pairs gained much attention from the public, but 818 lucky individuals were able to first have the sneakers after winning in the "Shock Draw" raffle. On top of that, after its official launch, it only took a matter of seconds and minutes before the stocks got sold out across the globe, and as a way to celebrate the release and success of "Nike x PEACEMINUSONE" limited edition sneakers, a private event was held with and G-Dragon was the host who greeted 800 fans.
