A recently debuted female troupe called HINAPIA had an interview with Joy News 24. Minkyung, Eunwoo, Yebin, and Kyungwon expressed how they feel over re-debuting following PRISTIN's disbandment. Four former PRISTIN members shared how they feel after becoming part of a new girl group.

Minkyung is formerly known under the PRISTIN stage name Roa, Kyungwon as Yuha, and Yebin as Rena. Eunwoo continued to go with her real and previous name. These four girls, along with fellow former PRISTIN members Nayoung, Kyulkung, and Xiyeon, participated in the competition "Produce 101" as representatives of Pledis Entertainment. In March 2017, Roa, Yuha, Yebin, and Eunwoo started releasing albums and singles, together with six other ladies as PRISTIN.

Then, earlier this month, HINAPIA debuted with the single album titled "New Start." Minkyung is HINAPIA's leader, Kyungwon, as the lead rapper and vocalist, Eunwoo as the main vocalist and face of the group, and Yebin as the main rapper. And, they have another member named Bada, who is the main dancer and youngest member of the team.

Minkyung answered first, saying, "When PRISTIN disbanded, we discussed with our label. Some members wanted to focus on their studies, and a few wanted to achieve their other dreams. So, we talked about what we would if we had parted our ways. After hearing each other's side, the ones who said, 'I want to carry on with being a singer in the future' were the four of us."

The ladies added, "We feel sorry for PRISTIN's disbandment, but we think that our company had no other option. And yet, thanks to some good talks, we were able to think it over practically."

Also, during the discussion, the idols gave a comparison between their debut as PRISTIN and HINAPIA. Minkyung responded, "When we debuted as PRISTIN, it is possibly how Bada feels now after debuting with us. If we were nervous and thrilled before, at present, we are more committed, and we think that we should do even better."

Eunwoo then stated, "After debuting as HINAPIA, I hoped that people would not think, 'I feel sad for them due to the fact that they are some of those disbanded artists.' Because it's our second time, we plan to show ourselves by all odds." Yebin said, "It's meaningful that we were able to attain this together. The chances we have to make our group famous are precious, and we feel grateful for each little thing. Our determination to work harder is strong."
