Police Authority Investigating for Possible Suicide in Goo Hara Case

Goo Hara, the Korean pop singer best known for her act in the Kpop girl group Kara, was found dead on Sunday at her home in Seoul. She was at the age of 28 when she died.

Authorities said the cause of death was still under investigation. The performer who debuted is 2008 together with five-member in Kara. The group comeback and had performances last week. Last May it was reported that Goo Hara has been hospitalized after a suspected suicide attempt.

The Kpop Idol was outspoken and an advocate against cyberbullying. Last June in her interview she said she was struggling to overcome depression and asking for the positive comment on social media.

In her final Instagram post sent Saturday to her 1.5 million followers, she showed a selfie in bed with the caption "Good night."

Goo Hara's death comes one month after the death of Sulli, a former member of K-pop girl group f(x) in a suspected suicide. Sulli and Goo Hara was a close friend and both are very outspoken out against cyberbullying.
