BTS member Jungkook has sparked widespread speculation after fans claimed to have spotted him at aespa's concert in Seoul during his military service.

The event, aespa's LIVE TOUR 'SYNK: PARALLEL LINE ENCORE', took place at the KSPO DOME on March 16, 2025. Videos and photos circulating on social media showed a man resembling Jungkook sitting in the audience, dressed in a black outfit, a face mask, and a hat, leading fans to believe it was him.

Though Jungkook has not officially confirmed his attendance, fans quickly recognized him by his signature doe-eyes and rounded features.

"I hope you enjoyed the concert, Jeonggugi," an online netizen commented.

"His eyes are so Jungkook's," another netizen wrote.

Jungkook is currently serving as a corporal in the South Korean military and is expected to complete his service in June 2025. During his time in the military, he has remained active in the entertainment industry, releasing his single "Never Let Go" and featuring in the travel reality series "Are You Sure?!" with fellow BTS member Jimin.

Fans anticipate that Jungkook will continue to explore his solo career after he finishes his military service. He could potentially release new music or collaborate with other artists, as he has done in the past with hits like "Seven" and "Stay Alive."

As for BTS as a group, their highly anticipated reunion is expected to take place in late 2025, with plans for a new album and a world tour. Despite speculation about a delay to 2026, HYBE has confirmed that group activities remain on track for 2025, with discussions already underway for their comeback. The septet's last album as a whole team was Proof in 2022, which also marked their ninth year together as a group. The album included the lead single "Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)."
