Ong Seong Wu will be having a fan meeting next year! The South Korean singer-actor took to his official YouTube channel and posted an invitation message for his upcoming event called "Asia Fanmeeting (We Belong)." In the video, Ong Seong Wu was encouraging his fans to attend his first-ever Korean fan meeting as a solo artist that will take place on January 11 at Kyunghee University in Seoul.
Ong has also revealed the poster for his fan meeting in Seoul. In the image, he looks ravishing as he holds a transparent ball and looking at the sky. The photo also unveils the time when the event will start.
In addition to Seoul, Ong Seong Wu will also be meeting his fans in other countries such as Thailand, Taiwan, and the Philippines that will be on January 18, February 15, and February 25, respectively. It will be his second time to meet WELO, Ong Seong Wu's fans, in Thailand, while it will be his first time to interact with WELO in Taiwan and the Philippines.
Last March and April of this year, Ong Seong Wu held his very first fan meeting called "Eternity." He kicked off his tour at the Thunder Dome in Thailand last March 16, next is in Malaysia last March 23, and his final stop was in Singapore last April 6.
Apart from being a singer, Ong Seong Wu had also established himself as an actor when he made his acting debut in the television series titled "At Eighteen." In the drama, Ong played the character named Choi Jun Woo, which is his first official lead role. The show aired from July to September.
Even though it was his first time to act, he was praised for his excellent acting skills and ability to show emotions correctly. In fact, he took home the "Best New Actor" and "Hallyu Star" awards at the 12th Korea Drama Awards of this year.
Ong Seong Wu made his name known after representing his label Fantagio in the second season of the survival reality show "Produce 101" in 2017. In the finale, he ranked fifth with a total vote of 984,756, making him become a member of the project boy band WANNA ONE. The group promoted from August 2017 to December 2018. After the boys parted ways, Ong Seong Wu continued as a solo artist, though he has not released any solo track since Wanna One disbanded.
Furthermore, Ong Seong Wu will be making his film debut in the musical-themed movie "Life is Beautiful," which started shooting last October and is scheduled to come out next year.
