EXO's Lay has been a bit active on social media lately. Just a couple of days ago, he shared a video of him in his music room, fidgeting his musical instruments, mixing, and playing the organ to dedicate a melody to Xingmis/X-backs (individual fandom name for Lay) on their anniversary. Not only that but he's shared some encouraging words as well, along with his photos at the beach.

Then, on the night of November 25th, Lay announced through his Weibo page that he will be in the forthcoming online documentary "Reknow."

"The first mini online reality show of layzhang "Reknow" is coming soon. An unexpected escape, an adventure of reknow, breaking out from my world to find out the real world. Follow Lay to find out your brave trip," Lay's Weibo account wrote.

In the teasers, Lay is seen riding a tank, a horse, surfing, jamming with the locals in Hawaii presumably-he is basically seen living the best life, experiencing new things, and all the while being happy to do so. It will be recalled that EXO-Ls were livid after his image in "Heart4U" was removed, but it turns out that he had been filming his own reality show.

The Weibo post added, "Re-know is produced by Tiktok, Lay Zhang Studio, Toutiao and Watermelon Video, the industry's first-star vertical screen micro reality show. Zhang Yixing's (Lay's birth name) 13-day "escape alone" is an unknown adventure that records his true state under the reset of zero."

This also explains why the EXO member and Mandopop star launched his own Tiktok account. A lot of Xingmis and EXO-Ls were overjoyed by this upcoming online show, which is set to air on November 28. Other fan bases promised to translate the videos for non-Chinese speaking fans to enjoy.

Fans were devastated when it was announced that he was not going to take part in "OBSESSION," but Lay is, in fact, busy with his solo activities for now.

Meanwhile, 6/9 EXO-Suho, Chen, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Kai, and Sehun-are slated to come back to the music scene on November 27 with their new album and music video. This marks their only come back as a group this year as others cemented themselves in their solo acts and units.

On Twitter, EXO announced that they will release the new album and music video as scheduled. They will also unveil the teaser on the same day.

"The teaser image and MV teaser of EXO's 6th full-length album will be released tomorrow at 12PM KST. The album and MV will be released according to the original schedule (NOV. 27 6 PM KST). Thank you for your patience," the account said.
