Singer Kim Jaehwan from SWING Entertainment and his production team Double Sidekick released a statement and said that former member of boy band iKON, B.I did not participate in the work on his first comeback album "Moment."
Earlier, netizens drew attention through a group of online communities and others that Kim Jaehwan's second mini-album "MOMENT" released the 13th of December appeared to have been working alongside B.I. The former member of iKON B.I., with the real name of Kim Hanbin, debuted in 2015, but he recently announced his withdrawal from the team in June due to marijuana charges.
Amidst rumors that the said artist is working as a composer under the stage name "Jeong Daegam" Ham Joonseok, a composer from the production team Double Sidekick announced his position.
"I think music has great power, but it's also sad," Ham said on his SNS account on Saturday afternoon. He also said that when the production proposal came, they were very happy yet specualtions arises and there were on way to express displeasure, also after seeing Kim Jaehwan songwriting skills.
Jeong Dae-gam, who was named in the credits, and one of White99 were said to be likely as B.I, while some even speculated that the vocals that participated in the chorus were the same as those of the stated artist.
"I had worked with B.I before as he is a friend of mine before along with a YG producer who was involved in the scandal, so I just wanted to maximize Kim Jaehwan's amazing ability as a producer for his album," he said.

he stressed, urging Kim not to let the controversy splash.
"We confirmed that the chorus that participated in the song by Kim Jaehwan had him pitch-high and not be-a-boy," said Double Sidekick Cha Kigi. Kim Jaehwan, a member of his agency Swing Entertainment, also said,
"After checking with the songwriter team, we confirmed that there was no participation of the composer [B.I] who is being mentioned."
Swing Entertainment said in their official statement the last 15th of December; the agency had it checked with the songwriter team and confirmed that no other composers participated in the new project. Kim Jaehwan's latest album includes the title track "The Time I Need," "After Party," "NUNA," "Who Am I," "Zzz," and "Paradise," The album has a total of six tracks, and also features AB6IX rapper Park Woojin. This album became the artist's ongoing new attempts as solo artist Kim Jaehwan and his growing musical capabilities are given opportunities every minute.
Kim Jaehwan directly participated in lyric making and composition for "Moment" and increased his musical maturity through collaboration with leading talented songwriters and composers such as Jeong Daegam, White 99, Double Sidekick, TIME and GRVVVITY. On top of that, Park Woojin, his former Wanna One groupmate, said that he participated in the rap making of the song "Paradise."
