On the second anniversary of SHINee's Jonghyun's passing away, SM Entertainment artists who served as his brothers and sisters in the K-pop industry extend their love for him through posting in their social networking accounts.
SHINee's Kim Kibum, or also known as Key, remembered his co-member, who is like a family by uploading three sets of Instagram posts about Kim Jonghyun.
In the first post, Key uploaded a debut photo featuring him with Jonghyun, with a caption saying, " I love you; I miss you so much." Though the caption was short, fans and netizens felt the warm between Key's words, which also served as a comforting message to SHINee's fans, Shawols, who were remembering the idol.
On his other posts, Key posted images of the group with five members, who are confidently shouting the thought that SHINee will forever remain as five. The member, Key, who is currently serving at the military, is known for being close with Jonghyun and is sometimes referred to as being brothers. Their closeness was not only proven and tested by time but up until now, his presence is still in this world.
Meanwhile, Red Velvet's Yeri, who is preparing for their comeback, took her time to post a heartwarming message for the idols who were not here physically along with a photo of a white rose and posted it on her Instagram account as well.
Her caption says, "I'm trying so hard so that my actions don't affect other people and myself to remember your names with only sadness...", which she also stated that causes her to hesitate on posting her message. However, she wants to ask if they were doing well on the other side.
She also expressed her thoughts, hoping that those people are in the right place with no sufferings, and ask them to watch over her. "I always remember [you] (Jonghyun), and everyone else too. I sincerely send my love."
Yeri has been known for being treated by Jonghyun as his younger sister, as Jonghyun only has an elder sister.
On this day, December 19, Yeri also updated her IG with a photo of Roo, Jonghyun's dog, where fans expressed their grateful hearts for visiting the late idol's beloved pet and daughter.
In addition to Key and Yeri, a member of Super Junior, Leeteuk also expressed his longing for his junior by posting his photo, and added a caption saying, "I miss you, Jonghyun-ah."
Furthermore, other personalities, such as friends of Kim Jonghyun, also remembered him, including wefreaky Junhyeok, a childhood friend of Jonghyun and Cha Hyun-sung, Jonghyun's back-up dancer.
Lastly, on the same day of his commemoration, SHINY foundation, which is an organization run by his family and close friends, released their official posters for the 2nd annual shiny arts festival.
The foundation aimed to support students who struggle and pursue their love for arts by giving out scholarships. This is in honor of Jonghyun, who has an intense grit for music and arts, as he was also referred to as Poet and artist.
