Before 2019 ends, EXO held their three-day encore concert in Seoul KSPO Dome, as the finale of EXplOration #5, starting from December 29, followed on December 30 and 31. It was a full blast until Chanyeol revealed his letter for his members that is genuinely a tearjerker, making fans, the EXO-Ls and his EXO members to shed tears.
During the concert, there was a particular segment where members got to talk after their performance, and surprisingly, EXO Chanyeol seems like he got something for the members.
Chanyeol, who admitted that he was terrible on showing his true feelings, can't quickly tell the other EXO members what he wants to say to them. Chanyeol said that he was open when it comes to talking about his feelings, but not when it comes to his members.
Thus, he prepared a handwritten letter, as well as a surprise VCR, as a gift to them, where EXO can see through his heart's content.
When the VCR started, fans give them a serene atmosphere to watch the video as well as to hear Chanyeol.
During the video -showing, the member was seen writing the letter, and hands-on on editing the video, he wants to create a video to be shown at the end of the concert, and that will make everyone cry.
It was evident that EXO members then became emotional, as they've seen the whole group members on the start of the video, that was Chanyeol's idea.
His prepared message has been flashed as the video summing up their memories from debut up until their recent concert is being shown, and it says:

December 31, 2019
The time we spent together starting from 2008 is too sparkling even to put it into words. I still remember it clearly, how the first time I got into the company, saying hello to everyone. In one's life, even if it's only for one person, I did think that sharing some memories with them for a long time it not easy. To me, these eight people are like my family, which I shared 200 million of unforgettable memories."
Furthermore, Chanyeol also shared his feelings without the members. He said that most of the time, he's thinking about his members and would feel lonely if he's alone, as well as things that he has done with the members were not the same as it is if he's doing it by himself.
Exo Chanyeol also described his true happiness, which is being able to laugh and talk with his members for a long time. He then expressed his grateful heart in the video, acknowledging how they worked hard for the past years.
Lastly, the VCR ended by Chanyeol's message saying,
"In the future, let us be the "us" who you can hold on when you are having a hard time. Brother Minseok, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Jongdae, Kyungsoo, Jongin, Sehun, I love you this much. We are one. Exo, let's love."
