Ongoing Projects and Petition to Bring Back X1 Organized by ONE-ITs

On the 6th of January, it has been confirmed that the rising rookie group X1, who was put on hold last December, will be disbanding, following the official statement released by the X1 members' agencies. Shortly after the statement from their agencies, CJ ENM confirmed the news, followed by an apology and thank you video from the members, X1 Do Hyun and X1 Lee Hangyul from MBK Entertainment.

In regards to this, netizens and supporters of X1, especially One-its (the official fandom of X1), amidst the sudden news that caused them heartbreaks, are doing several petitions and acts to save the group.

On the 7th of January, Korean One-its has already been organizing a re-debut group project for members who are willing to stat with the group and to continue their activities with the same members. This petition will be forwarded to their agencies for approval.

In addition to this, International fans also organized as well a petition through change.org with a project name "BRING X1 BACK", which aim was to get 75,000 signs, and amazingly, signs were already reaching 70,000. Any time soon, the quota will be achieved. Each milestone hit will be updated for a higher quota.

Once hit, the website will contact X1 agencies and update them for One-its voices to be heard. Despite being competitors during a music show, fandoms were uniting to support One-its agenda.

Furthermore, X1 Korean fans also submitted a petition to the Blue House regarding the group's disbandment, through the website, www1.president.go.kr/petition/Temp/ZKVdUA. A tutorial was also set for those International fans who want to sign though they don't know Hangul. Moreover, netizens had a Twitter rally, wherein #WeTrustX1 trend on Number 1 worldwide, in the hope that agencies will change their minds.

Moreover, on this day, another hashtag, which is #no_disband_X1, was set by Korean fans and were planning to trend worldwide. Fans and other fandoms were expected to participate in this event.

A supposed comeback for December was already planned by SWING Entertainment, the group's agency, as well as a post, were circulating online showing a meeting for music video filming of X1 on November last year. However, due to the manipulating of votes and ranking controversy involving MNET, the channel where X1 were produced, their activities were discontinued.

A final fight was then planned by international fans, together with K-One Its, which is protesting through "LED Truck Protest." The truck will be announcing demands including the resumption of all 11 members' activities, protection, and dense for the legitimacy of hard work of X1 and One-its lifting of the media ban and display fandom strength to show X1's profitability.

On the other hand, the X1 album, Quantum Leap, and main track "Flash" has risen to the music charts, wherein FLASH has peak its rank on first through Melon Charts. X1 is currently number 1 for SMA Rookie Awards Category, half-percentage ahead of the group TXT.
