On the 1st of March, the agency of the famous K-pop solo artist, Chungha, has confirmed that it is true that two of their staff had tested positive with the coronavirus following the speculations of the netizens after a mystery article was released on the other day.

On the official statement released by MNH Entertainment, they revealed that Chungha and their staffs underwent nCoV testing after one of their staffs have shown symptoms of the novel coronavirus.

"Chungha returned home (Korea) on the 24th of February after wrapping up her schedule in Italy. One of the staff who joined her on her schedule (filming) has shown the symptoms of fever, and later on, the staff was confirmed to be infected by the virus."

Shortly after, MNH Entertainment added that Chungha and her other staffs then have their testing as well, confirming that the female idol, fortunately, tested negative. At the same time, an additional team member tested positive.

However, as per the request of the Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the agency announced that Chungha and the other staff would be quarantined for precaution. '

"We will proceed with self-isolation following the request of the Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Because of this, Chungha's schedules will be temporarily held for the sake of the safety of the idol as well as everyone."

Chungha, who came from a fashion activity in Milan together with her staffs, had met with another Korean celebrity, which is bringing worry to the fans and netizens.

It was reported that during the "Milan Fashion Show," not only Chungha had attended the event but as well as NU'EST Minhyun, IU, Song Hye Kyo, Park Min Young, and Han Ye Seul.

Due to this, a news portal then released an article regarding the current state of health of the NU'EST member Minhyun, after being involved in a rumor that he got the virus as well. But, Pledis Entertainment has their action immediately to stop the malicious speculations and denies the allegation that the male idol is infected by the coronavirus.

"Minhyun and his other staffs who had been to Milan, Italy tested negative for the COVID-19." To ensure the safety of the idol as well as their staffs, Pledis Entertainment won't be scheduling Minhyun for the meantime to prevent the risks of the virus.

On the other hand, as the threat of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) entering the entertainment and Korean pop industry, K-Idols' schedules were minimized, and some of the plans for March were canceled or postponed including music shows and concerts.

Korean drama shows shooting, filming of music shows, and variety shows were being affected as well due to the limitations on contact with people as well as to the location.

It was noted that Chungha wouldn't be performing in Jakarta anymore, wherein she is one of the celebrities who were in the lineup for the upcoming Head in the Cloud Festival in the said country; however, the organizer released their statement informing everyone about the circumstances.
