Tzuyu, member of the 'Nation's Girl Group' TWICE, was in a home quarantine after returning to Taiwan, confirmed by her mother.

This is in accordance with the law wherein she is subjected to obey the 14-day home quarantine due to the viral coronavirus (COVID-19), which is infecting thousands of people around the globe.

Quarantine started on March 4, and if she tested negative, that's when she will be able to go back on March 18 in Korea.

Furthermore, Tzuyu's mother also revealed that her daughter hasn't been able to go out since her arrival in Taiwan, making it too boring for Tzuyu wherein all she can do is to repeat her daily routine of eating, having a movie marathon and exercising.

Tzuyu then confirmed it to her co-members and fans during TWICE V Live broadcast on the 7th, expressing her disappointment about her current situation.

"I am back in my hometown, but I can't hang out because I was put on quarantine," Tzuyu revealed to her members through a phone call.

The TWICE members gathered together on Saturday to have a live broadcast, meeting and greeting their fans as their schedules were postponed due to the same reason, upon the reports of severe cases in Korea of the virus.

As Tzuyu wasn't present in the country, the girls set up a chair for her, though with her picture being wrapped with the same jersey that all of the members were wearing, making them complete.

The girls then find it funny that Tzuyu was quarantined for not being able to enjoy her rest to the fullest.

Meanwhile, other fans were worried about the schedules of the group as TWICE schedules might be affected, adding that Tzuyu may choose to extend her time in Taiwan. In addition to this, after returning to Korea, the female idol has to undergo another two weeks of home quarantine, providing Korea's protocol in preventing the new coronavirus.

It was reported that TWICE has a scheduled comeback date between April and May, leading netizens to worry about the postponement of their return and reschedule their activities prior to their comeback first. However, other fans assure their co-fandom that it won't affect the schedules of the girls as they still got a long time to prepare.

On the other hand, on a press article released by Taiwanese media, Tzuyu's mother talked about the recent donation her daughter had made for South Korea and China. The female idol's mother then revealed that it was her own choice to donate for the countries, coming from her personal savings.

It was also mentioned in the article that Tzuyu made a donation simultaneously for the two countries with an amount of 50 Million Won each, however, due to cross countries issue, transfers to China was delayed. Tzuyu was then caught up in an issue after news about her donating only to Korea were released, with Chinese people throwing hate comments to her; however, fans clarified this issue sending receipts of Tzuyu's donation to China. The Chinese netizens then apologized shortly after, clarifying the misunderstanding between the idol.
