American R&B singer Gallant reaches out to Rosé for a possible collaboration via her Instagram post.
Blinks, however, think that this new opportunity of doing international collaboration might have been turned down by Rose's management, YG Entertainment.
In February, Rose posted a video on her Instagram showing her sexy charm while lying on a couch. Fans were ecstatic and were captivated by her beauty. But among all the fans who showed admiration to her, one comment stood out that made Rose's fans excited.
None other than the American R&B singer Gallant, he commented on that video of Rosé with "Sent u a song."
Christopher Joseph Galant III, better known with his stage name Gallant is a singer from Columbia, Maryland and self-released his debut song 'Zebra' in 2014. Gallant is popularly known for slaying perfect falsetto and his talent to produce quality songs.
To people who are an avid fan of K-pop celebrities, they know Gallant for making collaborations with Korean artists. Gallant has worked with Korea's top artists including Eric Na, MONSTA X, Epik High's Tablo, and even made a cover of BTS's V's song 'Singularity.'
Blinks are overjoyed to know that an international artist like Gallant would be interested in collaborating with Rosé, although it doesn't come as a surprise since the idol is her group's main vocalist for a reason.
On March 6, Gallant hosted a live stream through his personal Instagram account. A fan commented on his stream saying, "DO A COLLAB WITH ROSE."
However, Gallant explained that he did not expect that Rosé would reply after he sent the song on her Instagram. The R&B Singer told his viewers, "I do not have a good relationship with people's companies."
This statement made Blinks think that the possible collaboration between the two artists might have been turned down by Rose's agency. Fans then added that this isn't the first time that the YG Entertainment put a stop on any of her possible collaborations and opportunities internationally and locally.
One of the offers is from the ELLE Fashion Magazine in Australia where BLACKPINK is having their 'In Your Area' tour. A fan tried to reach out to the ELLE Australia team if they would like to consider Rosé to do a cover photoshoot with them, in which the fashion magazine delightedly replied with a 'yes' and sent their request to her management.
However, after all the interactions the shoot never happened. Blinks were furious and assumed that YG did not accept any of the international offers for the K-pop star, and making Gallant one of the wasted opportunities being declined by her management.
In a report, this is not just one of the possible offers, but various artists internationally and locally expressed their interest in collaborating with Rosé.
Rumor has it that the BLACKPINK member also received offers from IU, Red Velvet's Joy, Rapper Dindinm Jung Seunghwan, Halsey, Wolfya, and Lany.
