EXO's Lay's collaborative track with the American DJ Steve Aoki and Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am is out!
On March 20, at 12 midnight CST, they dropped the new song "Love You More" on different streaming sites. Its audio version is currently available on YouTube, but the EXO member's studio confirmed on Twitter that there will be a music video soon!
Stream "Love You More" here.
It was on March 18 when the international DJ uploaded a video of himself playing the acapella version of the song. He wrote, "Teaser time! That is right! Here is a clip from my next single! Dropping on Friday. I said f!@#k it and play you the acapella. Guess who it is??"
Steve, evidently jamming to the music, decided to let everyone have a guess who the other two artists behind this new collaboration are.
It did not take long for the EXO-Ls to identify that it was Lay's voice. Just after Steve Aoki uploaded the video on his Twitter account, fans bombarded the page and dropped their answers that the sweet-sounding voice belongs to the C-pop star.
Since all the fans have participated in his guessing game and made the correct answer, as promised, Steve officially posted a teaser photo of him beside Lay and Will.I.Am.
EXO's Lay has also collaborated with other artists, such as in "Let's Shut Up and Dance" with NCT 127 and Jason Derulo, "No Man's Land" with Anti-General and Jasmine Sokko, and "Lovebird" with Far East Movement.
He also had some soundtrack appearances, such as in "Happy Youth," "Alone," "A Man-Thing," "Pray," and "Everything Like You."
Lay also has been thriving as a soloist, having released successful solos "Monodrama," "What U Need," "Lose Control," "I Need U," "Sheep," "Goodbye Christmas," "Give Me A Chance," "Namanana," "Honey," and "Grandma." He is currently the third best-selling solo artist in China, next to Li Yuchun and Cai Xukun. Also, his EP "Honey" is the third best-selling digital album of all time in China, while three EPs of his former bandmate Luhan come next.
Meanwhile, in December of 2019, Steve Aoki also collaborated with the K-pop group MONSTA X after he expressed his wishes to make music with them. The collaboration was successful after the American DJ dropped their track "Play It Cool" that made it to the line up of MDL Beast that was held in Saudi Arabia.
Steve then shared photos of him with the group on his Instagram story. He also took pictures of MONSTA X's performance on stage performing their track "Play It Cool."
