The Korean idol group BTS has announced that they would put health and safety first as the schedule for their new world tour remains uncertain due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Big Hit Entertainment announced on the 24th regarding the progress of the "BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR" performance on its official SNS as follows:
"The global expansion of Corona 19 from China is expected to disrupt the 'MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR' performance in some countries and cities. There is a high degree of uncertainty regarding the rescheduling as it is diffucult to perform normally with the given circumstances. There may possibly be an online show to be coordinated."
"Currently, we are closely watching the situation of the countries and cities where the performances will be held. Actions such as canceling or rescheduling performances will be actively discussed with the recommendations and guidelines of each local government and venue for the health and safety of all. The detailed changes will be guided by each country or host city," they added.
"We are doing our best in many ways to carry out the scheduled performance despite various difficulties. Also, if the situation in Corona 19 gets stabilized, we will secure a schedule and venue to hold the 'MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR - Seoul' performance. We are working on a plan to provide a new and high-energy performances for the fans who may have been upset by the cancellation of the events, so please be patient. We will notify you of any further decisions as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, BTS canceled the "MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR" Seoul performance scheduled for the main stadium in Jamsil, Seoul in April due to the spread of Corona 19 from China.
