Kwon Mina, a former member of the South Korean girl group, is now starting a new career as a consultation manager at a soon-to-open dermatology clinic in Seoul, South Korea.

Over the weekend, Mina shared photographs on her Instagram account that revealed the interior of the dermatology clinic she will soon begin working at. In the caption, the former idol expressed her excitement for her new role. Prior to her new career, Mina was a broadcaster.

"It's really opening now. Please show interest and look for Manager Kwon Mina. "

Mina announced her career transition in January of this year, noting that she had to get two licenses to achieve her goal of working as a dermatology consultant. She also assured potential clients that she would provide personalized consultations and exceptional service, promising customized procedures and stating that she would never recommend unnecessary treatments.

Kwon Mina debuted with AOA in 2012 as a vocalist and rapper. She remained with the group until 2019, when she decided not to renew her contract with FNC Entertainment. After leaving AOA, Kwon entered the acting industry.

However, in 2020, Mina made headlines when she revealed that she had suffered verbal and physical abuse at the hands of the AOA leader, Jimin. She later also accused the other group members of ignoring the idol's bullying and harassment. That said, she emphasized that only Jimin was involved in bullying her. This led to Jimin leaving the group and retiring from the entertainment industry.

Mina also later claimed that she is only one of the four alleged victims of Jimin's bullying, noting that one has since passed away.

In the years following her departure from AOA, Kwon faced personal challenges, including struggles with mental trauma. In early 2025, she shared the news that her dog, Mochi, had been diagnosed with cancer.
