BLACKPINK's 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' Hits 1.1 Billion Views + Becomes First K-pop Group to Break the Record

BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" music video broke YouTube's 1.1 billion views at 12:00 on March 24. This is the first-ever record achieved by a K-pop group. It was also attained about 1 year and 9 months after the song was released.

"DDU-DU DDU-DU" set a record of 1 billion views just 4 months ago, and this time, BLACKPINK proved once again the steady love of their global fans by reaching this monumental milestone. This record is even more significant as the popularity of the song is still evident.

"DDU-DU DDU-DU" is the title song of BLACKPINK's first mini album "SQUARE UP" in 2018. The point is the performance of shooting a pistol with both hands. It raised the cover dance boom of fans, and that year, it was ranked as the first in the 'K-Pop Music Video I've Seen Most in the World.'
