MONSTA X's Jooheon proved he's the best senior after he gifted a self-composed song for the upcoming debut album of Starship Entertainment's rookie group, CRAVITY, the first boy group that will debut from the agency five years after MONSTA X.
On Thursday, March 26, the agency announced that Jooheon will participate as a composer in CRAVITY's debut album, titled "CRAVITY SEASON1. [HIDEOUT: REMEMBER WHO WE ARE]," which is to be released on April 14.
Through this debut album, Jooheon will make a special contribution to writing, composing and producing his own music as well as improving his musical maturity.
In particular, he is a member of MONSTA X, a global group that has been active throughout the world, and has been a producer, including a steady addition of self-composed songs in every album that they release from their debut, consistent participation in rap-making of the entire album and his solo mixtape. Jooheon is an all-rounder senior that will make his participation as good luck for the success of their junior group's debut.
Based on previous reports, it is rumored that despite the busy preparation of MONSTA X's new album, which is expected to be unveiled in May, he willingly took charge of producing his own songs and even composed songs to cheer for the debut of CRAVITY, offering his full support through his own skills and ways.
According to Starship Entertainment, Jooheon said, "I personally worked hard to show off the merits and excellence of the members of CRAVITY while producing songs."
He added, "It's a more meaningful experience to become a part of producing a song in the albums of my debuting juniors."
Fans are increasingly looking forward to what kind of music Jooheon's self-composed song and CRAVITY will meet together to create. Attention is also drawn towards whether the debuting group, which has focused attention on the K-pop scene by releasing various debut contents, will be reborn as a rookie who will shine in 2020, thanks to Jooheon's burning support.
Meanwhile, Jooheon has been announced to partake in MONSTA X's comeback album. Through the agency, he is confirmed to return to the group after his hiatus due to concerns on his mental health. Starship stated that he will be resuming his activities and is now preparing for their comeback.
On March 27, the company said, "MONSTA X will be having their comeback sometime in May."
In addition to this, despite the improvements in Jooheon's health, the agency will continue to monitor the group's health.
"We will continue to check the health conditions of the MONSTA X members and will put in our full effort for the management of their health," Starship Entertainment added.
Stay tuned for CRAVITY and MONSTA X's updates!
