MONSTA X will cultivate social distance while performing for supporters!
On April 3, MTV Unplugged at Home announced the release in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic an online mini-concert series where popular celebrities perform in the comfort of their homes in a stripped-down acoustic show.
Alessia Cara, Shaggy, Jewel, Melissa Etheridge, MONSTA X, Bazzi, CNCO and Finneas are part of the lineup.
MONSTA X also engaged in a related live broadcast concert for Twitch's Stream Aid 2020, where they raised awareness and donations for COVID-19 relief benefits. The group's still prepping for their May return.
"MTV Unplugged at Home" commences at 12 p.m. on April 3. EST, which will stream YouTube, Facebook, which Twitter pages on MTV.
It was in March when the prominent K-pop groups MONSTA X, STRAY KIDS, and (G)I-DLE joined the charity stream to earn donations for those who were affected by the Coronavirus outbreak.
The 12-hour charity stream was hosted by a star-studded roster of musicians to raise public awareness and donations to fight the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
On March 26, streaming service Twitch published details about Stream Aid 2020, a live broadcast concert showcasing gaming, music, and sports figures to support the relief from COVID-19.
Stream Aid features musical events, Fortnite competitions, UNO challenges and exclusive celebrity appearances starring celebrities including MONSTA X, (G)I-DLE, The Chainsmokers, Diplo, LAUV, Charlie Puth, Steve Aoki, and more, according to the program.
MONSTA X has verified the statement with a roster screenshot. They continued, "We are proud to be part of this wonderful project- Twitch MONSTA X stream aid 2020 go live to save lives."
(G)I-DLE also announced the news with Twitch and added: "Is that (G)I-DLE on the list? Hey! Tune to join (G)I-DLE doing something for a noble cause this weekend AND have fun along the way."
All proceeds and contributions will be transferred to the WHO's COVID-19 Response Fund throughout Twitch Stream Aid. Twitch Stream Aid took place from 9 am last Saturday 28 March. At 9 P.M. PDT
MONSTA X SPRING COMEBACK
Earlier this week, Joohoney had stated and said he would resume activities and the band is prepping up to return.
On March 27, Starship Entertainment announced via an official press release, "MONSTA X will make a return sometime in May with a new album."
The agency added, "Member Joohoney, who for his psychological well-being and sufficient rest temporarily suspended activities in January, will resume MONSTA X events beginning with the coming May Comeback. Joohoney's wellness has greatly improved as he focused on recovery and rehabilitation during his absence, and his comeback was established after a detailed conversation between him, the agency and healthcare professional.
"We will constantly monitor the MONSTA X members 'health conditions and put all our energy into maintaining their wellness," Starship said.
