Block B took to the social media to celebrate their 9th anniversary together!
The members poured out their hearts on their social media accounts on April 15 and on their official YouTube channel.
Park Kyung expressed his feelings on Twitter, too. Alluding to the nickname of the fanbase, he said, "Our bees continue to be strong. Thank you, Aww. Those are nine years that I have been able to thank all of you for."
Taeil posted an image of the Block B bowing at their concert. He wrote, "My greetings are delayed. Today is the ninth anniversary of Block B's debut! Once again, thank you to the supporters who have been sending us endless love over the last nine years. The members of the Seven Seasons crew and the members of Block B, who have always become a source of support, have worked very hard. Let's keep making futures memories even better!"
Jaehyo posted a band illustration and stated, "My everything."
P.O shared a picture of the members gathered at a restaurant. His company manages the Instagram site, and a member of staff has published it on his behalf.
Through his real name, they wrote, "When it reached midnight, Jihoon instructed us to post this right away. However, this is late. This is the ninth anniversary of Block B already, everyone! P.O states his personal favorite Block B track is 'A Few Years Later.' For the first time in a while, start listening to it again and have a pleasant day. Good evening."
Sharing the band's similar illustration from Jaehyo, B-Bomb said, "It is our ninth anniversary already. Thanks, still!"
B-Bomb also shared a clip of each member's voice messages that were published to the YouTube page of the group.
In the recording, Taeil began, "Hello, this is the Taeil of Block B. Block B is spending our ninth debut anniversary now. It seemed like all the experiences of the last nine years were running through my head. I have been able to keep promoting as Block B's Taeil thanks to all of you. Please keep supporting us, and thank you so much for everything."
The singer also assured his fans that he'll finish his military duty in good health, adding that he'll "see you soon on stage."
He went on, "Thank you so much for our ninth anniversary, and this is a day for all of you to earn heartfelt thanks, so I hope that we will all have a happy day today. Thank you so much for supporting us for nine years."
Then, Jaehyo expressed how time flies. He said, "It felt like I made my debut yesterday, but now I'm 31 years old, and it's our ninth anniversary. Supporters who supported us since the beginning of 2011 and some who were undergrads who have now become workers, and I discovered that several of the working people are now parents These things while endorsing, become new motivating factors."
U-Kwon, on the other hand, shared, "We've already been nine. While promoting in our tenth year, there has been a lot of nostalgia, and I don't know when nine years went by."
The singer also mentioned the current global crisis, and shared some words of motivation in his statement.
"There have been a large number of people who have a terrible time due to COVID-19, let's get past all of this together," he said.
"Eventually, I'll see you with new music and perfect performance. I've got to go to the army, and there's going to be a moment when we can't see each other, but once the time passes, I'm going to take the opportunity to see each other more afterward. Thank you always, and thank you very much for always being with Block B. Bye!" He concluded.
Park Kyung responded by saying, "Speaking through an audio clip like this is a bit uncomfortable, but it has been years since Block B made its debut. We made an appearance on April 15, 2011, and now it's become April 15, 2020."
He continued, "I'm disappointed and sad we haven't really been able to present you Block B as a full band since late, but we're working hard on our collective promotional activities, and I'm consoled by witnessing fans cheer us up. It will require us some more time to do full band activities, but prior to then kindly show some support on the members."
Park Kyung went on, "Ok, I do miss you a lot. There aren't many opportunities for us to accommodate these days because of COVID-19, but please remain healthy, and I wish we can see each other eventually after the situation is resolved."
Last but not the least was Zico, Block B's leader. In his message, he said, "It's the ninth anniversary of Block B. It's something that I feel different emotions for each year, but it's time. It's getting faster as I grow older. Members have turned 30 and the majority of them are actually serving in the army."
He added, "I hope there will eventually be a day when we can all come together and give you something nice. There are several people coping with problems in different ways, but I hope there will be successful situations soon. Please gather your energy until that day and bear in mind that safety comes first. Let's have a good time."
Happy 9th anniversary, Block B!
