If you have never been to K-pop live shows and/or performances, don't think that it will be like the average Western celebrity performance. Several significant differences are essential to learn in advance, and that will ready you for, perhaps, the best experience imaginable.
K-pop As The Main Event
It's common for Western shows to have a roster of several musicians and groups. It begins with the opening act and goes on to the headlining act, which is typically the musician you've come across many obstacles to see!
It's a one-act series, for performing K-pop artists. From the time the show begins, your favorite idols will be on stage before you brush away your last teardrops during the opening act until the end.
Got A Free Hand Or Two?
It's entirely normal to hold your lightstick in one hand throughout K-pop live performances, your banner in the other, somehow still bear a mark with the name of your bias, oh yeah, but don't miss to document everything else on your mobile device.
Usually, you'll just see fans and other audiences holding their cameras or arms up in the air for additional live performances!
Concert Outfit
K-pop fans can go all out, wearing their favorite idol's caps, a headband with their name, face, or both.
However, dressing like this is certainly not necessary. Fans these days wear a nice conventional outfit for a western live performance shows depending on their liking (which is also completely fine for a K-pop concert!).
Meet-and-Greet Privileges
Several other K-pop musicians or performers will have various types of passes, which can sometimes give you a photo session, meet-and-greet, or some other once-in-a-lifetime opportunities! Unless you are also attempting to see all the western pop artists or musicians is a lot more "underground," obviously you won't be capable of meeting them so quickly.
Be Prepared For Anything Especially When It Comes To Money
It depends entirely on the performer or artist, but securing some nice K-pop concert seats will go up by a couple of hundred bucks though you can achieve them from somebody who doesn't knock you for money whatsoever.
There are a lot of factors involved to account for the concert rates of western artists, such as the venue and the artist's reputation. Still, generally, there is usually a better possibility of having tickets when they first go on sale to prevent any insane costs.
Traveling To Concert Venues
Many other Western artists visit plenty of towns on the promotions, and you're expected to be at least anywhere within driving distance.
Sadly, often, K-pop artists can have as few as four towns and label it a U.S. venture, so be ready to schedule your sooner rather than later accommodation and a plane ticket.
Everything Can Get Serious
Suppose it depends on if your K-pop concert is general admission ("first come, first serve" seats!), people can be able to line up in the morning's early morning hours, or even end up coming to camp out days in advance.
Although this is somewhat less popular for Western events, it might still exist with devoted fans for some musicians, performers or artists.
